So what's the story? Well, from the early 1990s, for 15-odd years, Pippa brought her background of massage and energy therapy, single parenting, homoeopathy, surviving disaster, playing around with words ("I really wanted to be a novelist...") and a few other random skills to broadcast the therapeutic energies of colour and light on several continents - client work, group work, pen-and-paper work, all sorts. In those days, in other words, so far as the work went, it was all about colour: colour therapy, colour healing, call it what you will (and commuting across three continents to fetch and carry her children from school at weekends). So she was used to working with the subtle energies of light as potent tools for healing, spiritual growth and health - but there's life as well as work, isn't there, so she was screaming "is there anybody out there?" as she went (silently, of course). Angels, divine rescue? Miracle cures for jetlag? New tricks for bi-location? A simpler way to feed the kids?

"We never come into our mission without a struggle," someone remarked along the way. "And God has a wacky sense of humour," Pippa replied.

Prayers are heard and a response is guaranteed: just not usually the one we expect (and no, we've not mastered bi-location yet...). She'd learned a much-needed ton of things about life and healing, of course, as she'd jetted from searing poverty in Communist-recovering Budapest to high-end business wives in Tokyo (and plenty in between). Besides the ground-level stuff, though, the forces Pippa had sensed around her were becoming subtler as angelic energies increasingly made their presence felt in her work: she vaguely wondered what was going on, and her question was answered rather suddenly and vocally in the early hours of a spring day in 2007. Messages, instructions, waveforms, colours: the nuts and bolts that would become the basis for the Metatronic Healing® system began downloading - and they kept on coming.

Students gathered fast as word spread about "the new Reiki; the new Spiritual Surgery; the new Angelic Healing" - how do we describe something that does so much? By turning gratefully to others, perhaps: in Atlantis and the New Consciousness, Stuart Wilson and Joanna Prentis have channeled a most eloquent description: "as Metatronic Healing develops, it is destined to become the Yoga of the New Age". Be any of this as it may, there's been a lot to do since those early days: the "new" frequencies to download, integrate, translate into useful action; courses to structure and teach, workbooks to be written. Oh and the actual books, the ones with proper covers... Rescued by Angels, for instance (yes really...), and more: The Wizdom of Oz, and Harps of Gold. Fortunately for Pippa, she has not been alone. Her three children - Amazons and Trojans all - got her through the tricky 1990s; woah, that was a big ride taken by Big Souls, God bless them for evermore. Once we found we'd just about made it into the New Age and left that pesky old separation consciousness behind (well nearly), Pippa's husband John gracefully entered the scene: he's been the patient rock of ages, let alone the Groundsman, while all this was being built.

And what about Clare? Pippa has worked and played for years with Clare Glennon, the human angel she describes as her "shepherd and anchor" as well as her close colleague and Metatronic partner. Clare's many years of bringing the subtlest and most potent of energy work to the mainstream, originally through body-work and then through a variety of natural energy healing techniques, especially in connection with addicts, have given her a broad range of skills to call on in Metatronic Healing. She offers a monthly group Metatronic Meditation to support students, and a monthly live introductory class in Abingdon.
